THE BIGGIN HILL SOCIETY - Potential Speakers

We are always eager to encourage locally based speakers who talk within our subject range, and welcome approaches to us on our email address at preferably with an attached synopsis of talks, fees and a few details about the speakers' background. Whilst our original purpose is defined on our home page you can see from our published programmes of talks that we take a fairly broad view of subject type and our December meeting is more of a social event with the emphasis on entertainment and convivial company.

All talks are at the WI Hall, Lebanon Gardens, Biggin Hill, TN16 3HA. It is a well equipped hall with a 7mtr wide raised stage, a large pull down projector screen and a PA system with integral hearing loop for hearing aid users. Loose equipment includes a range of radio microphones for multiple concurrent use, projector stands, various sized tables and flexible power arrangements. The hall has recently been extended with a large disabled toilet and ramp access to the building.

Talks are held on the first Thursday of each month except when this is a Bank Holiday.
