The Biggin Hill Society
A Society formed to:-
stimulate interest in the character and history of the village of Biggin Hill and the surrounding area.
research and locate information and artefacts of local historical interest and ensure their safekeeping.
encourage interest in art, literature and music, particularly that originated by local residents.
Established in July 1997 we have a current membership of over 150 members. Our activities include a programme of monthly presentations, mainly illustrated talks but including novel events such as wine tasting, cinema evenings and painting demonstrations by local artists. We also run an annual series of outings and social events for members and members' guests. New members and guests are always made very welcome at our talks.
